Try treating yourself to a favorite, affordable indulgence like a movie at the big screen. They have those fancy movie theaters out now where you can actually order drinks and food while watching your movie. Not to mention the big, cushy chairs that recline. I have tried this as a treat and really enjoyed the ambiance.
You ladies all love being pampered and getting your favorite manicure or pedicure. This can be so relaxing because you are usually sitting in those big chairs that will massage your entire body while you are having your pampering done.
A favorite of mine is indulging in my favorite ice cream. I went to one of those ice cream shops that offer flights of ice cream. If you don’t know what I mean, it’s like getting a flight of your favorite wine or beer. So you can get multiple samples of different flavors to test out. I actually saw a young man and woman who had gotten a flight of 40 different kinds of ice cream in small cones. Besides having it melt all over the place, they were having a great time. I think it was trying to impress her.
Another fun idea is to get yourself a self-care box or self-care kit. Half the fun is discovering what’s inside and trying everything out. I don’t know about you, but I love surprises.
